A Busy Week

Well...we survived two trips to Portland this week to complete Brian's pre-transplant evaluation. Monday was spent doing all kinds of tests...lab, EKG, x-ray, and ultrasound. Wednesday was full of meetings, education, and interviews, along with an exam by one of the transplant surgeons. There was lots of review of things that we already know and some new information as well. All the information gathered on these 2 days will be reviewed by the transplant team next week and they will make a decision regarding Brian's eligibility for transplant. We should know their recommendation by Friday.
