Way Too Long!!

Wow...it's been over a year since I updated our journey! I feel very guilty about that! We have received several comments and questions about Brian's status lately, so I decided that it is time to get my rear in gear!

Basically, Brian is still on the waiting list for a new kidney. It's been almost a year since he was listed, so the time is approaching for a whole bunch of re-testing to make sure he is still fit for a transplant. Some of that testing will begin later this week.

Dialysis continues to go smoothly. The dialysis unit where Brian is treated was recently sold to a new company, so there is some adjusting to do, but his schedule remains the same, and he still has access to his wonderful doctors. We are very thankful for that.
